NOUN 2021/2022 JAMB and Departmental Cut off Mark – NOUN Cut-Off Mark for all courses 2021/19 academic session is out! Therefore all candidates who put NOUN as their preferred choice of higher institution during the UTME registration can confirm if they meet the current JAMB Cut-off mark for NOUN 2021/19 academic session.

The minimum point a student applying for admission must attain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME or JAMB) and or Post-Utme/Screening Exercise in order to be considered for admission into a particular school/University.

Jamb fixed cut off mark for FUNAI is 180.
Candidates with higher scores are first considered in admission basics candidates with lower scores though might meet the cut off mark of 180 may likely not be admitted. In fact, it is the higher your scores, the higher the chance of being admitted.

NOUN 2021/2022 JAMB and Departmental Cut off Mark – Due to the scrapping of post UTME by the federal government, the Joints Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had given a benchmark of 180 and higher for candidates applying for Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, the National Open University has followed suit in the 180 general cut of mark of JAMB.
NOUN 2021/2022 JAMB and Departmental Cut off Mark – NOUN does not by any means have a particular cut off Mark for courses.But nonetheless, aspirants who scored at least 200 in UTME examination are qualified to apply for admission into any of their selected courses.
Because of the high number of understudies wishing to study in NOUN, the admission procedure is very competitive and admission is given in view of the higher JAMB score, the higher the odds of being admitted.
NOUN departmental cut off mark will be made available after the screening exercise has been conducted. below is the NOUN 2021/2022 JAMB and Departmental Cut off Mark;

  1. 220 – 240 – Medicine (O’ Level result with one sitting only) and Nursing
  2. 200 – Mass Communication, Common Law, Pharmacy, Anatomy, Physiology
  3. 190 – Computer Science, English Language, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Geology, all engineering courses except Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering.
  4. 180 – All other courses

Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.

NOUN MODE OF ADMISSION SCREENING

NOUN conducts her screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks and it normally happens in two stages. Students that applied to study in the institution are to continue with the screening activity once it’s published.
Documents required are SSCE result and JAMB registration print-out alone.

 
 Please note that it is very necessary for a candidate to arrive early and find his/her screening venue. Candidates will be screened based on their JAMB scores and their SSCE result.

Documents required for Internal screening in Ahmadu Bello University are;

  • Printed Post-UTME Screening Form
  • Internet copy of O’level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS)
  • Printed copy JAMB Result Slip
  • Primary School Leaving Certificate
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of age
  • Local Government Indigene/Citizen/Residence Certificate
  • Recent colored passport photographs (Not less than 16 copies)
