BUK 2021/2022 Departmental Cut off Mark for All Courses – BUK Cut-Off Mark for all courses 2021/19 academic session is out! Therefore all candidates who put Ahmadu Bello University as their preferred choice of higher institution during the UTME registration can confirm if they meet the current JAMB Cut-off mark for BUK 2021/19 academic session.

The minimum point a student applying for admission must attain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME or JAMB) and or Post-Utme/Screening Exercise in order to be considered for admission into a particular school/University.

The Bayero University Kano does not really have a specific cut off mark for courses. However, candidates who have scored a minimum of 200 in UTME examination are eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.
Due to the high number of students wishing to study in the Bayero University Kano, the admission processes is competitive and an admission is given based on JAMB score and O level grades.

Candidates MUST meet the minimum UTME scores for their chosen courses, have the right UTME subject combinations as prescribed in the JAMB Brochure and the requisite ‘O’ Level subjects at credit level.

MODE OF ADMISSION SCREENING

The Bayero University, Kano holds her admission screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks and it usually comes in two phases. Students who applied to study in the school are to proceed for the pre-screening exercise when once it is being announced.
Documents required for the pre-screening exercise are: SSCE result and JAMB registration print out only.
It is often important that a candidate arrive early and locate his/her screening venue early. Candidates will be screen on the JAMB scores and their SSCE result.
Documents required for Internal screening in Bayero University are;

  • Printed Post-UTME Screening Form
  • Internet copy of O’level results (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/NBAIS)
  • Printed copy JAMB Result Slip
  • Primary School Leaving Certificate
  • Birth Certificate/Declaration of age
  • Local Government Indigene/Citizen/Residence Certificate
  • Recent colored passport photographs (Not less than 16 copies)
